Hi,
Thanks for your helpful websites. I’m a kiwi OBOD Bard and am coming to the UK June 2020. I would very much like to come to Iona and be “of service” for a fortnight or so - free labour in exchange for somewhere to sleep ideally. I’m a deeply spiritual person and would be happy also in a Christian community if that’s where this enquiry takes me.
Can you help me at all?
Cheers and thanks,
Blessings be
Katherine

It's been a blustery dreich day here again today so thought updating the page photos might bring a bit of cheer.

Annual painting marathon has started in earnest, the Admiral is due to arrive on Monday to make sure we are on schedule for opening in March and to supervise the staff.

Megan is looking very frosty round her chops now she is a beautiful senior at 11 years old compared to this photo and her daughter Lainie is beginning to look grey round the muzzle. Jane is supposed to be doing annual accounts in the breakfast room but keeps being distracted by the weather systems scooting up the Sound of Iona.

Hey ho - 6 weeks to go before we open. Have a great weekend folks 🥂🍻

Not usually a big fan of starfish, they tend to get into the creels and wrap themselves around the bait, but I have to admit these ones are quite pretty.
