The Goddard family would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who visited this weekend’s ‘The Legacy of Lisa Goddard’ at Whimbrelart in Tollesbury.

Together, you raised an incredible £1,930 for Farleigh Hospice.

Words aren’t enough to express our gratitude, but from the bottom of our hearts — thank you all for your support, kindness, and generosity.

Lisa Goddard’s sketchbooks are definitely worth checking out at Whimbrel Art today, as part of an exhibition celebrating and remembering Lisa’s wonderful work.

Open until 3pm today, and tomorrow (Sunday) from 10am–3pm. Prints and cards of Lisa’s artwork are also available, with all proceeds going to Farleigh Hospice, who cared for Lisa and her family.

Pop by and take a look — the family would also love to hear your memories of both Lisa and Alfie too.

The Goddard family are ready to welcome you to in Tollesbury this weekend to celebrate the colourful artwork of Lisa Goddard.

Saturday & Sunday: 10am – 3pm

Please note that the original artwork is not for sale, but there will be a wonderful selection of high-quality prints and cards available to purchase.

All proceeds from sales will go to Farleigh Hospice, who supported Lisa and her family throughout her journey. ❤️

The Goddard family invites everyone to come and visit WhimbrelArt in Tollesbury to see an exhibition of Lisa Goddard's work, much of which celebrates the local landscape which she loved so much.

We will be selling prints of her artwork to raise money for Farleigh Hospice, where Lisa was cared for with so much love.

Our Art Trail and WhimbrelArt sadly lost one of our first artists and one of our biggest supporters recently, and today, her family and friends come together to celebrate the life of Lisa Goddard in Tollesbury.

Lisa was at her happiest surrounded by her family and loved creating whether it was cooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and her artwork, which she sold at and too at her own tearoom in the sailing lofts on Tollesbury's water front.

She remained positive and determined till the end, even though whilst battling cancer, Dave, Lisa's husband, and herself found themselves in an awful situation of losing their son Alfie Goddard.

We are thinking of all their wonderful family today, especially Dave, Lisa Mum, sister and brother, and her children Daisy, Louie, and Mimi.

Thank you to everyone who came to my first exhibition, it enjoyed it immensely.
It was lovely to see so many people throughout the week, local and not so local.
Now thinking forward and about other artworks.
I will be putting some on here the next day or so, and people can make offers on them, and if they are not sold i will repurpose the frames/canvas/board for other works.
