Caroline Grant Glass Art Studio A cottage glass art studio & gallery set in the village of Goonhavern.

Our dehumidifier has burnt out causing mayhem in our little building. The fire assessor has indicated renovations may take up to 12 months to sort. So it's with a heavy heart, saying I will not be open for "Cornwall Open Studios 2026" (event in May this year).
I have always enjoyed and looked forward to opening the gallery at this time, enabling Clive & I to meet friends and followers in person.
We are looking forward now to new beginnings and what the future holds ....starting with new creations in time for the next Open Studios 2027. Xx

I've been a little slow settling down to getting it done!

I've called this piece,
'The Void'
Sharing here a vision of existence recieved in a dream. Then being physically understood seeing this scene in nature.
The path of life..
At the precipice of one's life's journey... the Unknown... The Void!
On crossing this destination point there is new beginnings, experiences, revelations, new visions awaiting.
Life's walk, a continuum of experiences, unseen and hidden spiritually until crossing the 'Void'.
TheVoid then beyond.
New experiences to be gleamed with every footstep we take, no end, no beginning just a new path ahead.

Constructed with window glass and brass strands as trees.
I did not want colour just the vision....
the clarity of the glass to take the eye where it will be led.

A couple of years ago, a client requested a picture of an elephant for his mom's birthday.
Used clear base glass and coloured powders to create this piece. Had loads of fun working on this one. 😁
