This page is a celebration of my many years as a professional photographer and showcases a lot of my personal work as well as professional assignments. Many changes to the industry have occurred since I stared out but my basic approach remains the same and furthermore, I have embraced the current technology available to my advantage:

I am not the type of Professional Photographer to be put into a

one category box. Working within a variety of genres, I always shoot very clean graphic images in terms of composition, use of light & shadow and attention to detail. My portraits reflect the personality of my subjects with whom I quickly establish a rapport, enabling them to relax and be themselves. I use portable lighting in many of my shoots but still capture candid moments within this controlled environment. However, I mainly use available light when photographing travel, lifestyle and reportage scenes. I have worked in many parts of the world, often in harsh environments on short deadlines but have the necessary experience, determination, organisational and communication skills to make things happen. My personal portrait work: is in the collections of the National Media Museum and the National Portrait Gallery. My work is sold as prints posters and I also license my images for royalties. there are many more photos on my website: http://simonlewisphotography.co.uk

Just got some really nice testimony from a recent client Sha Armstrong: "I can't recommend Simon too highly for his work as a wedding photographer. He was so easy to work with, both in the arrangements before the wedding, during the wedding itself and the speed with which he sent through the 500 photos for us to choose from. He needed little direction from us as to which shots to get but just got on a did a very professional job altogether and at a very reasonable price. As for the final photos ... well, we couldn't be any happier!" APRIL 2017

Bespoke Designed Wedding Albums in Storybook style by Simon Lewis Photographer

Here are some examples of my 12 inch storybook wedding album and parent book that can either be added to my wedding photography packages (inclusive in the premium ones) or ordered separately.

The page layouts are lay flat: allowing for creative double page spreads without staples getting in the way. these are printed on thick high quality photographic paper.

There are many cover choices ranging from contemporary brushed steel to more tradition styles. The storybook pages can be composite images or just one image across a double page spread. Images can be mixed in colour black and white and sepia. Each page/spread is designed to show the photography to it's best.

I can also vary the border colours and I often like to have light page backgrounds for the service and portraits and then change to dark background for the evening reception.

Prices vary according to the album size and number of pages required. The album can only be ordered as part of my photography services. Simon Lewis

I was going through my archive. This is one of my early works: a portrait of the inventor Sir Clive Sinclair that was originally exhibited in the National Museum of Media in Bradford where it received a Sun Life award. It was also added to the National Portrait Gallery's collection and featured in the Camera Portraits exhibition and catalogue celebrating 150 years of British photography. This is the page from the catalogue.
