Thank you # 2 ….to the Wainfleet Co-op

Heartfelt thanks to the manager and staff of our Co-op for the donation of plants which were well past their sell by date and due for disposal. We can make good use of them in our Museum garden and every little leaf and root will be given a new lease of life.
Thanks also to Jacqueline, a member of the Museum committee, who initiated the rescue.

These plants had grown too large for the planters in the market place and our Mayor Steve Mitchell/ Wainfleet Council have kindly gifted them to our Museum garden .
The Tulip Tree was planted in celebration of the Jubilee of Elizabeth II, and the Photinia Red Robin was planted to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III. We are hopeful that they will prosper in their new and spacious garden. Thank you so much.
