Pelumi Odubanjo: Ten.8 afterimage
Throughout June- Free admission, Floor 3.

Come along and explore the Ten.8 afterimage exhibition which revisits the influential photography journal Ten.8 (1978–1992).

Emerging from the Midlands during a period of intense cultural and political change, Ten.8 played a pivotal role in shaping critical debates around race, class, power and visibility that still resonate today. The exhibition builds on that foundation, presenting a mix of historic works and new commissions that reflect on how these conversations continue to resonate today.

The exhibition is delivered in partnership with International Curators Forum (ICF).

During his time at the Gallery, Whipps is visiting geosites across the borough, bringing materials into the Studio that reflect the area’s history of fossil collecting, alongside stories from the people and communities who use these sites today.
