A really busy day, especially on remembrance day. A good chat with the guys from Blackbush Heratige Trust who came to see us today. We would like to say thank you to Councillor Simon Howes for setting up just the giving page and came to see us as well today. We did get some work done. Finally got the Mae West into its own case after being on a board since we think 1974ish!. One display done, about 5 more to do. All part of the revamp of the older museum displays. Would also like to thank everyone who's had given to the just giving page. It really helps.

Hello. For years now the museum has survived, and still does survive on the gate fees and any small donations that we get. All money is put into the museum and we had plans to upgrade and possibly expand a little. Unfortunately this has had to be put on hold. Over the summer we have had to have inspections on both our fire safety and electrical certification. We did pass both but unfortunately it has become apparent that the bunker and other parts of the museum will need rewiring as some is 30 years old. As you can imagine this will not be cheap, £4950 is what we have been quoted. As a small group this is a big amount for us and so we need to try and raise the money. We have had promise of assistance from the Lions Club and others towards this but we are still short of the funds needed. A Just Giving page has been set up to help us raise the money. We have never had to do anything like this before and would like to thank you all for your support over the years and into the future.

Iʼm raising money to Help raise essential funds to keep the museum running and open. Its our history.. Support this JustGiving Crowdfunding Page.

A very quiet day today. Not many visitors but a little work done on the Provost and Goblin engine. We would like to thank the ladies from Wellesbourne Poppy Cascade for giving us our own poppy cascade on the entrance to the museum. These are all knitted and are placed around Wellesbourne. The main one covers the tower of St Peters Church with several thousand knitted poppies.
