EVENT| ☀️Join us for fun in the sun this Whitsun week with garden games and circus activities on the lawn. Have a go at family-friendly board games, hook-a-duck and ball rolling activities up in the Dulley room, or make Funfair circle spinners in the Lower Gallery using our arts and crafts materials! Running Monday to Friday this week during our opening hours.☀️

We are excited to be partnering with Wellingborough Library this Local and Community History Month - thanks for having us!

If you want to learn more about Wellingborough's past, the museum is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4.30pm and is FREE admission.

This Thursday, May 14th, we are delighted to be supporting Made With Many as host for their community gathering.

Pop along to the museum between 6pm and 8pm to have your say on the next three years of the Made With Many programme, and help to shape arts and culture in Wellingborough.

We are open from 10am, with FREE garden and circus games out on the lawn to enjoy. You can also take some time to explore the galleries, enjoy a slice of cake in the sunshine, or browse around our shop.

COLLECTION | We welcomed this stunning Green and Valentine wooden hat box into the collection this afternoon.

Green and Valentine once stood opposite the Hind Hotel, on the corner of Market Street and Sheep Street. Opened in the mid to late 1800's, the store finally closed in the 1970's (correction from late 1960's).

The flags are flying for this coming International Wændel Walk Weekend 2026!

The museum will be open all weekend (including Sunday) from 10am, so pop along to cheer on the walkers with a Dulley's Cream Tea as they go by.

Friendly reminder that the museum will be closed on Monday 11th May, as our volunteers will need a hard earned rest after the busy Waendal Weekend! 👟

We'll be back to our usual opening times afterwards, so don't fret! You'll be able to come and grab a delicious cream tea or peruse the galleries as normal afterwards 😌
