We're absolutely thrilled to announce that Brooklands Museum is a finalist in the 2026 Royal Automobile Club Historic Motoring Awards! 🏆

Our Grand Prix Centenary event is shortlisted in the Motoring Spectacle category, recognising an unforgettable celebration of 100 years since Britain’s first Grand Prix, right where it all began. 🏁

Congratulations to our fellow finalists - it's such an honour to be recognised.

Something mysterious is happening at Brooklands Museum this October Half Term!🔎

It’s 1926, Britain’s first Grand Prix has taken place, and strange things are happening at Brooklands. But who’s behind the motoring mischief?

The clues are waiting to be discovered, there are several suspects, and we need some budding detectives to help crack The Grand Prix Mystery!🕵️‍♂️

Join the investigation weekdays from 19-30 October. Can you solve the case before it’s too late?

And the adventure doesn’t end when you crack the case! From 17 October-1 November, enjoy daily family fun:

A new arrival with a century of history, 1 of 3 built a 1924 Alvis ‘200 mile’ Works racing car 🏁

This Alvis finished 6th in the 1924 Brooklands JCC 200 mile race. Now it officially returns Brooklands Museum where it once raced.

Watch as this remarkable piece of motoring history makes its way into the collection, bringing us another step closer to the golden age of British motoring.

There's mysterious motoring mischief afoot at Brooklands Museum this October Half Term, and we're getting into the detective spirit!

To celebrate The Grand Prix Mystery, we're putting your powers of observation to the test with a series of fascinating objects under the magnifying glass from our Britain's Grand Prix Story exhibition in the Jackson Shed.
