Had the fun of photographing bigger beasties the other day. These are my life sized female Red Kite and Buzzards. Currently these are only £7,500 each but the next if the editions will be £10,000+ as bronze prices have increased.
Thanks to getting my Female Buzzard into the Royal Academy Summer Open a while ago, the Female Buzzard is now nearing the end of her limited edition!

I took a couple of beasties to the beach today, as it was sunny and the lighting was good. It's nice to get out of the stuffy studio once in a while. I love how the colour of the sky mirrors the colour of the kingfisher!

At the Poole Psychic Fair at the Lighthouse Arts Centre in Poole Dorset today and tomorrow. One of the few events I shall be doing this year because I'm focusing, as much as possible, on my public commission of a bronze statue of Susie the cat, for Dorchester.

It has taken 3 trips to Dorchester to track her down. She's a busy kitty! There are so many beds, chairs, stools, windows, cat beds and cosy corners that she hasn't yet explored in the whole of Dorchester.... And sometimes beyond! She was supremely unbothered by being woken up by a complete stranger, stroking her and managed a really hearty yawn at one point! She is assured in her belief that everyone loves her, which we do! Looking forward to sculpting this beautiful kitty!
