Bowie - hand embellished canvas with original embellished frame. Love doing this, another on its way also. Channeling my inner Jackson Po***ck.

I’ve never embellished a frame on any of my works before so would love to know your thoughts.

I’ve been sorting out a new batch of cards this morning. I’ve got a NEW card on display. ‘Don’t even think about it’ featuring the gull. Seems appropriate with all the gulls around at the moment. Have a great day folks.

It’s the final weekend of the Northumberland Open exhibition at the Woodhorn Museum.

My original painting ‘movie night’ is on show and for sale and fortunately has not been sold. Seems like a strange thing to say I realise but ever since entering it into the show I’ve been hoping it didn’t sell (hence charging more than normal for a piece of this size). I’ve got a spot on one of my walls where it will live after the show ends unless of course someone buys it this weekend - I may have to buy it back if it did sell.

A while ago I mentioned that I had donated this print to an auction to raise funds in memory of James Black, a young local lad who tragically lost his life in October 2025 after he collapsed at school playing football with his friends.

The auction for this print and lots of other items is now live, so if you are tempted by it and wanted a Winners 25 print get bidding, the print is Lot Number 1.
