It's nearly that time of year when we throw open our doors for one day to welcome in the New Year. Come along for some entertainment, light refreshments and a warm welcome, you'll even have a chance for an old time photo. We look forward to seeing friends of the museum, old and new, a fun day for all the family.

Things are looking festive in the museum ready for our Christmas Sale on Sunday 30th November, we will be open from 11am. If you think you need something for Christmas, we probably have it for sale, apart from a turkey, we don't have any of those. We will also have home baking and a lucky dip for the children. Put this in your diary, Wick Heritage Centre will be having a Christmas shop again this year. Come along and see what we have, there will be some lovely original handmade gifts for you to buy as presents for family and friends. Hope to see lots of you there.

And just like that we come to the end of another season, thank you to everyone that has visited us over the year and everyone that has supported our book sales. Also a big thank you to the volunteers who give up their spare time to help run the museum and fundraising events, without whom we would not be able to open. We will be busy over the winter doing maintenance and updating displays and look forward to seeing old and new faces in 2026. See you soon.
