Supporting local care through art
At Poundfield Precast, we’re incredibly proud to support projects that bring creativity, community, and compassion together.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with St Elizabeth Hospice through the Wild in Art fundraising trails - vibrant events that transform Ipswich into an open-air gallery filled with beautifully decorated sculptures. From pigs and elephants to owls and, most recently, hares, these trails have captured hearts and imaginations across the region.
Behind the scenes, we’ve played a small but important role by manufacturing the concrete plinths that each sculpture stands on - giving every artwork a strong and stable foundation to shine from.
When the trails conclude, the sculptures are auctioned to raise vital funds for St Elizabeth Hospice. To date, these initiatives have raised over £1 million, supporting specialist care for people living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses.
This year’s trail alone raised more than £250,000 - a fantastic achievement that reflects the generosity and creativity of our community.
We’re honoured to play our part in such an inspiring initiative and look forward to continuing our support for the hospice’s incredible work in the years ahead.
