Everyday Pride Grants 🏳️‍🌈

Small Funding for Big Creative Expression 🎨

Working in partnership with the Wigan Pride Committee and Wigan Council, we’re super excited to run our second year of Everyday Pride Grants! 💰

We launched a small grants programme last year to give local artists, creative groups and organisations the chance to bring extra fun, colour and spectacle to this year’s Wigan Pride parade on Saturday 8th August! 🌞

If you’re local, from Greater Manchester or further afield, we want this funding pot to inspire and help to express how proud you are to be a part of the LQBTQ+ community or show your support as an ally. 💪

We are looking for joyful and vibrant ideas to be incorporated into this year’s Pride march that celebrate equality and its importance in creating a rich and welcoming community in Wigan. These can be posters, banners, costumes or puppets… Anything goes as long as it meets the criteria in our short application form!

To find out more and apply, click here 👉 https://forms.gle/zXPBwhSCRzLXpgMLA

Important Info:

⭐Grants of £500 are available to support your ideas.
⭐You must be over 18 to apply.
⭐The deadline for applications is Monday 6th July @ 5pm, and successful applicants will be notified on Wednesday 8th July.

We can’t wait to hear from you!

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact the Everyday team on [email protected] - we’ll be happy to help! 📧

Gorgeous ceramic tiles by Emily from the Mutti Love Stories project! A big thank you to Mutti Tomatoes and its marketing agency jellybean creative solutions for being founding partners of our Creative Grief programme, allowing us to run a pilot later on in the year!

However for us to really get the ball rolling and offer the people of Wigan and beyond the grief support they deserve we need your help.

Grief is something most of us carry quietly. In many communities - including here in Wigan - there are no support groups that use creativity as a way of processing loss. A donation no matter what size helps us get one step closer to starting the programme, we understand that times are difficult right now financially, so even just sharing the GoFundMe makes a massive difference!

Every pound raised goes directly towards running the twice monthly sessions - covering materials, facilitators, and keeping the space free and welcoming for all participants.

So please share far and wide and donate if you can, you can read more about the project plus Em and Alicia’s Mutti Love Story at the GoFundMe link here: https://gofund.me/654194166 !❤🍅
