Three soldiers from The Royal Gurkha Rifles — Rifleman Buddga Tamang, Lance Corporal Ashish Gurung and LCpl Ashish Thapa Magar, are taking on an incredible 24‑hour challenge to support the Gurkha Museum in Wi******er.

Their goal: 211km in 24 hours, plus 32 squats, 32 push‑ups and 32 sit‑ups every 10km per person.

The challenge runs 4–5 June 2026.

The Brigade of Gurkhas annual Bhela and Nepal Cup Final will take place on Queen's Avenue, Aldershot on 4 July 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to support and meet soldiers and veterans from the Brigade of Gurkhas. The museum team will be there as well, to tell you about the history and our exciting plans for the new museum later this year. (Project Kaida).
