This is the art gallery of Stephen Legge, I have lived in West Oxfordshire for the last 30 years.

Since qualifying from Falmouth School of Art and Design, where I studied Art and Graphic Design, I have worked as a professional graphic designer.

This week’s painting portrays the view across Cogges Meadow towards Newland in Witney. Unlike previous visits, the weather was beautifully sunny, bringing a warmth to the scene as the meadows turned yellow and sun-dried, evoking the height of summer.

Featuring some of Oxford’s most iconic landmarks, the collection includes views of the Bridge of Sighs, the Sheldonian Theatre, the Bodleian Library entrance, and Carfax Tower. I’ve also created a series of new prints inspired by scenes around Cogges Manor Farm and Museum.
