Sharing this older watercolour of mine from a few years back — a cosy interior scene that still feels very fitting for this time of year.

As always, thank you to everyone who supports ipaint4hope. Through art sales, this project helps raise funds for Cancer Research UK and Relay For Life Colchester, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the kindness and generosity that makes that possible.

Big thank you to everyone who has visited and supported our 52 Weeks of Wivenhoe charity exhibition so far!

Over 13 days we have raised more than £700 for the charities we are supporting 🥳🎉🙌🍾 and we are only half way through our exhibition! 🤩🤩supporting Cancer Research UK and The Rob George Foundation

From Tuesday next week the selection of art will change! Still the same theme … art inspired by local walks around Wivenhoe and neighbouring locations along the river Colne.

Do pop in, have another look and continue to enjoy our art !

From 17th June to 29th the exhibition will include art from Heather Clarke Dog Portrait Artist , Janet Corder, Wendy Fisher , Graham Galaway, .george.12, .art.insta, Carl Kirby, , , , and .

Our exhibition is currently open daily 10am -5pm The Sentinel Gallery through to 29th June, closed Monday 16th.

Do pop in to say hello !

While stewarding at The Sentinel Gallery tomorrow (Mon, 9th) from 1:30pm - 5pm, I will be adding the finishing touches to my oil painting of the Wivenhoe fishing boats!

Our charity exhibition is in full swing! Art inspired by 18 months of walks around Wivenhoe and the local area.

Thank you so far to everyone that has supported our 52 Weeks of Wivenhoe Charity Exhibition so far … the exhibition will continue till the Sun 29th June…an exhibition in two parts !

Its current format will remain until Sun 15th June.

Closed on Mon 16th to refresh the exhibit.

Tuesday 17th we reopen with a new section of art until 29th.

Thank you to all the visitors that came along and supported the ‘Wivenhoe Painting Belles’ at our opening party last night , you made our night very special 🤩 aka .george.12 💃 💃 💃💃

We had a fabulous turnout and sales supporting the two charities, and , thank you 🙏 to those visitors who made purchases.

A special thanks to Pip and Rob who helped setting up and ensured everyone was looked after at our opening.

Certainly a splendid celebration of our 18 months of walks around Wivenhoe and neighbouring villages and a great way to kick start our month at the gallery!

Our ‘52 Weeks of Wivenhoe’ charity exhibition runs for the whole month of June… in two parts.
