As fans of the 2017 horror film, 'The Ritual' (directed by David Bruckner) we had the pleasure of teaming up with the producers, to bring you a special poster for this little horror gem. The movie is about four college friends who reunite after a tragic event and embark on an epic hiking trip into the Swedish wilderness. However, in a remote forest they discover they're not alone!
For the poster artwork we were lucky enough to commission the incredible Berlin artist Katja Lang, who's dark and atmospheric landscapes (which she's so well known for) seemed the perfect match for this project. We also hoped it would bring something rather unique to the world of alternative movie posters. Katja has created a brooding image, with exaggerated elements bordering on the surreal. We wanted the poster to focus on the first half of the film, the tension and mystery as the four friends begin their journey into the unknown.
