Art in Minds Foundation Art in Minds Foundation was a registered charity led by current and ex-mental health service users and local artists to encourage wellbeing through creativity.

Sadly, AIMs no longer exists. Art in Minds Foundation (AIMs) was a registered charity (1155453) based in Worcester that supported those who suffered with mental ill health and those affected around them such as carers, professionals and family members. We had 150 members and since 2004 our artists were able to develop, share and broaden their creative skills in a supported environment where attend

ing practical arts based workshops, one to one tutorials and participating in exhibiting opportunities, art groups and social events is actively encouraged. Getting involved with the organisation through its volunteering opportunities helped some of our members re-engage with employment and education, leading to a more fulfilled life. Our aim was to encourage creativity and social interaction, improve confidence and self esteem whilst reducing the stigma that people with mental health issues face in everyday life. AIMs is now closed.
