Immerse yourself in the fluid beauty and power of water at the stunning ‘Reflections’ exhibition, currently running at the Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum until Sunday, 3rd January 2027.

This breathtaking showcase features historic and contemporary artworks, including incredible high-profile loans from the National Gallery and Glynn Vivian Gallery, with works by legendary artists like Claude Monet, Eugène Boudin, and Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, alongside modern icons like David Hockney and local favourites! 🎨

Thank you to the Zandra Rhodes Foundation for hosting Museums Worcestershire's Glove Affair team! 🧤

The team was amazed to discover that Dame Zandra Rhodes purchased and enhanced gloves from Dents, Fownes and Miloré in her work, all famous glovemakers in Worcester.

Better still, some of these gloves have been offered to the museum for a forthcoming Glove Affair exhibition, opening in 2027 at the Art Gallery and Museum. Many thanks to the Zandra Rhodes Foundation for this support.

Step inside Worcester's Victorian Chemist Shop on Friday 6 November! ⚗️

The display was set up after the closure of Steward’s Chemist Shop at 27 High Street, when the entire shop along with the fixtures and fittings (and tinctures and "Steward's Blood Mixture" 👀) were purchased in 1974 and transported to the museum to be redisplayed.
