Our volunteers have been working behind the scenes to ensure that Worsbrough Mill is a welcoming place for all visitors.

By protecting natural habitats and cleaning up around the Mill, volunteers are learning new skills and looking after their local area.

Barnsley Museums is celebrating ! 🎉

It is always great to see our volunteers enjoying their experience at Worsbrough Mill. We would love to share a massive thank you to our volunteers for their hard work and support on a range of activities and projects.

One volunteer shared how they enjoy being part of a team and feeling valued: “Paul is just fantastic, the whole team is. There's a shared love and value of what we're doing. We've attended the events through the project and there are so many layers to what we do here that have been strengthened through Millennium of Milling.”

Our site is a great place to soak up the rays in our circular walk around our reservoir, followed by a refreshing drink from the Millers Tea Room - it's the perfect combination! 🥤

How beautiful does our reservoir look? 😍 This was the scene when we opened our site up the other morning, and we thought we must share!

Our site looks so beautiful in the sunshine, of which there's set to be plenty this weekend ☀
