🏛️ უკვე მეხუთე წელია, ყოფილი საბაგირო შენობის ფუნქციურად ათვისების შედეგად შექმნილი „კუბი კონტექსტში“ მზიურის პარკში ფუნქციონირებს როგორც დამოუკიდებელი სოციალური, სახელოვნებო სივრცე, რომელიც განსხვავებული ასაკის, გამოცდილებისა თუ შესაძლებლობის ადამიანებს ხელოვნების ირგვლივ აერთიანებს და ქალაქში თავისუფალ კულტურულ წერტილს ქმნის.
🖼️ აქ ვფენთ პროფესიონალ და დამწყებ მხატვრებს, ფოტოგრაფებს, მოქანდაკეებს... დამოუკიდებელ ავტორებს; აუდიტორიას ვუთმობთ სხვადასხვა სფეროს წარმომადგენლებს; ვმუშაობთ ბავშვებთან, მოზარდებთან, მშობლებთან, შშმ ადამიანებთან, ლტოლვილებთან, უფროსი თაობის წარმომადგენლებთან... ვზრუნავთ ცხოველებზე, ეკოლოგიაზე, ვავითარებთ არაფორმალური განათლების პროგრამებს... ვმასპინძლობთ კინოჩვენებებს, ფესტივალებსა და სოციალურ პროექტებს.

🤝 სივრცე დღემდე არსებობს საკუთარი მცირე შემოსავლებით, მოხალისეობრივი შრომით, პარტნიორების რესურსებით და იმ ადამიანების მხარდაჭერით, ვისაც სჯერა, რომ ასეთი ადგილი დედაქალაქში უნდა არსებობდეს.

🌧️ სეზონი რთულად დაიწყო: მოგვპარეს გარეთ მდგარი სარეკლამო კონსტრუქცია (ცოტა ხნის წინ - მაგიდები), რომელიც პარკის სტუმრებს კუბში და ჩვენს ყავის წერტილში იწვევდა. მეორე წელია გალერეის კედლები წვიმების შემდეგ რეგულარულად ზიანდება და მხოლოდ ბოლო რამდენიმე თვეში სივრცის სამჯერ დაუგეგმავად გარემონტება მოგვიწია.
🛠️ ამას ემატება ყოველდღიური საოპერაციო ხარჯები — ინვენტარი, ტექნიკური და საწმენდი საშუალებები, ყავის წერტილის მარაგი, სამუშაო ხარჯები და სივრცის მოვლა.
📅 ამავე დროს, საგამოფენო პროგრამა უკვე დეკემბრის ბოლომდეა დაგეგმილი. იმისთვის, რომ ეს გეგმა შესრულდეს და მედიათეკის კარი ზამთარში ღიად თამამად დავტოვოთ, ახლა სტაბილური მცირე მხარდაჭერა გვჭირდება.

🎨 More than 300 events in four years: exhibitions, workshops, training sessions, film screenings, lectures, performances, festivals, social initiatives... Thousands of visitors, numerous media features, and dozens of local and international collaborations.
💛 And all of this with 0 permanent funding.
🏛️ Now in its fifth year, Cube in Context operates in Mziuri Park as an independent social and arts space created through the adaptive reuse of a former cable car station. It brings together people of different ages, backgrounds, experiences, and abilities around art, creating a free and open cultural point in the city.
🖼️ We exhibit both established and emerging painters, photographers, sculptors, and independent artists; give a platform to voices from different fields; work with children, teenagers, parents, people with disabilities, refugees, and older generations; care about animals and the environment; develop non-formal education programmes; and host film screenings, festivals, and social projects.
🔗 By connecting the right people, skills, and resources, we create a model in which a successful project does not necessarily require a large budget.
⚪ Cube has no permanent funding.
🤝 The space has survived and grown through its own modest income, volunteer work, resources shared by partners, and the support of people who believe that a place like this should exist in the capital.
💛 Right now, the support of our friends is especially important.
🌧️ The season started on a difficult note: the outdoor advertising structure that invited park visitors into Cube and our coffee point was stolen — and shortly before that, our tables were stolen as well. For the second year in a row, the gallery walls have been repeatedly damaged after heavy rain, and in just the past few months we have had to carry out three unplanned repairs.
🛠️ On top of this, there are everyday operating costs — equipment, technical and cleaning supplies, stock for the coffee point, day-to-day working expenses, and maintenance of the space.
📅 At the same time, our exhibition programme is already scheduled through the end of December. To carry it through and confidently keep the Mediatheque doors open during the winter, we now need small but steady support.

If you have professional experience or ideas about how Cube could strengthen its financial sustainability, we are open to hearing them.
📌 At the same time, there are a few core principles and practical realities to keep in mind: Cube’s primary focus remains its contemporary art gallery and Mediatheque; the shared co-working space must remain free for everyone; there is no running water in the Mediatheque; and regular access for supply vehicles inside the park is restricted.
🔄 Since opening, we have tested many models and considered almost every detail. In recent years, as access to international funding has decreased and support from the private sector has become more limited, two approaches have proved the most effective for us: **pooling human and professional resources for projects, and covering minimum operating costs through the income generated by our coffee point.**
