“Where the Gaze Begets the Spring” explores the metaphysical and aesthetic dimensions of spring as a metaphor for renewal and cyclical rebirth.

Through gaze, the artist investigates the elusive mysticism of the season, inviting the viewers into a visual journey.

A successful debut of Georgian art on the global market.

On April 27, 2026, Tbilisi hosted the region’s first international auction, “Georgian Modern and Contemporary Art.”

The auction concluded with a 100% success rate: all 90 presented lots were successfully sold.

The sale was organized by one of Europe’s leading auction houses, the Dutch company Hessink’s The auction was broadcast live through leading international auction platforms, Drouot and Invaluable.

The auction was curated by Thea Goguadze-Apfel, founder of Reach Art Visual - ART Consulting Company and co-founder and managing partner of Art Foundation Anagi.

ქართული ხელოვნების წარმატებული დებიუტი გლობალურ ბაზარზე.

2026 წლის 27 აპრილს, თბილისმა რეგიონის პირველ საერთაშორისო აუქციონს – “ქართული მოდერნული და თანამედროვე ხელოვნება” – უმასპინძლა.

აუქციონი 100%-იანი შედეგით დასრულდა: წარმოდგენილი 90 ლოტიდან ყველა წარმატებით გაიყიდა.

გაყიდვები ევროპის წამყვანი სააუქციონო სახლის, ნიდერლანდური “Hessink’s”-ის მიერ იყო ორგანიზებული. აუქციონი პირდაპირ რეჟიმში, წამყვანი სააუქციონო პლატფორმებით – Drouot და Invaluable გადაიცემოდა.

აუქციონის კურატორი იყო თეა გოგუაძე-აპფელი – ხელოვნების საკონსულტაციო კომპანია “რიჩ არტ ვიზუალის” დამფუძნებელი; “ხელოვნების ფონდი ანაგის” თანადამფუძნებელი და მმართველი პარტნიორი.

On May 12, Art Foundation Anagi hosted a private viewing of Qiao Qi's exhibition.

Titled “Where the Gaze Begets the Spring", the exhibition brings together works across multiple media by the Chinese born artist.

Spring serves as the unifying motif of the exhibition, as a symbol of renewal, transformation and cyclical rebirth. Through the act of gaze, Qi Qiao explores the mysticism of perception itself, inviting viewers into an intimate visual and sensory journey. This exploration unfolds through the dialogue and juxtaposition of different cultural and civilisational references.

The exhibition also features collaborative works created with Georgian French artist Irakli Nassidzé. Produced by the master artisans of the Georgian jewelry house “Zarapkhana” (Zarapkhana • ზარაფხანა), the pieces are crafted using unique traditional goldsmithing techniques.

12 მაისს, “ხელოვნების ფონდმა ანაგმა” ცი ციაოს გამოფენის დახურულ ჩვენებას უმასპინძლა.

“იქ, სადაც მზერა გაზაფხულია”, - ასე ჰქვია ექსპოზიციას, რომელზეც ჩინური წარმოშობის ხელოვანმა სხვადასხვა მედიუმში შესრულებული ნამუშევრები წარმოადგინა.

წელიწადის ეს დრო ცი ციაოს გამოფენის გამაერთიანებელი მოტივია, რომელიც განახლებისა და ხელახლა დაბადების მარადიულ ციკლს უკავშირდება. ხელოვანი ცდილობს, გაზაფხულის მისტიკა მზერის დახმარებით შეიცნოს და დამთვალიერებელიც ამ ვიზუალურ-სენსორული მოგზაურობის თანამონაწილედ აქციოს. ამ ეფექტს ის განსხვავებული კულტურულ-ცივილიზაციური კოდების შეპირისპირებითა და დიალოგით აღწევს.

გამოფენაზე ასევე წარმოდგენილია ქართველ-ფრანგ არტისტთან - ირაკლი ნასიძესთან თანამშრომლობით შექმნილი ნამუშევრები, რომლებიც ქართული საიუველირო კომპანია “ზარაფხანას” ოსტატების მიერ, უნიკალური საოქრომჭედლო ტექნიკით არის შესრულებული.

“Lumigraphies: Rêver Cadaqués” (Surreal Dreams of Cadaqués) by Valmont Achalme is now open at our space – the artist’s first solo photography exhibition in Tbilisi.

Valmont Achalme is a widely recognised artist and the founder of the Cadaqués Photo Festival (InCadaques).

Alongside the opening on 2 May, visitors had the opportunity to meet the artist, who introduced his distinctive technique known as lumigraphy. Refined over decades, this method allows light to enter the digital sensor through controlled exposure, creating images with a calm, poetic and dreamlike quality.

The series is inspired by the legendary coastal landscapes of Cadaqués, long associated with the surreal imagination of Salvador Dalí. In Achalme’s work, however, Cadaqués is reimagined through a contemporary lens, appearing as serene, painterly visions. The exhibition also features experimental video works.

The exhibition is presented as part of KOLGA TBILISI PHOTO

ფონდის სივრცეში ფრანგი ხელოვანის, ვალმონ აშალმის, პირველი პერსონალური ფოტოგამოფენა - “კადაკესის სურეალისტური სიზმრები” გაიხსნა.

ვალმონ აშალმი (Valmont Achalme) საყოველთაოდ აღიარებული ხელოვანი და კადაკესის ფოტოფესტივალის (InCadaques) დამფუძნებელია.

გახსნის ღონისძიების პარალელურად, 2 მაისს, გაიმართა შეხვედრა ხელოვანთან, რომელმაც ფოტომოყვარულებს მისი უნიკალური, ე.წ. ლუმიგრაფიის ტექნიკა გააცნო. ციფრულ სენსორში სინათლის ნაპრალით შეღწევის მეთოდს აშალმი ათწლეულების მანძილზე სრულყოფდა. ეს ტექნიკა მის ფოტონამუშევრებში მშვიდი, პოეტური ზმანების ესთეტიკას ქმნის.

სალვადორ დალის სურეალისტური ნამუშევრები სწორედ კადაკესის ლეგენდარული სანაპიროს პეიზაჟებით იყო შთაგონებული. აშალმის ნამუშევრებში კი, კადაკესი სრულიად განსხვავებული და თანამედროვე ხედვით - მშვიდ, ფერწერულ ხატებად წარმოგვიდგება. გამოფენაზე ასევე წარმოდგენილია ხელოვანის ექსპერიმენტული ვიდეონამუშევრები.

ვალმონ აშალმის გამოფენა “ქოლგა თბილისის” (KOLGA TBILISI PHOTO) ფარგლებში იმართება.

The exhibition "UMBRA" by the photographers of "Kamo Studio" closed on April 30.

The closing of the exhibition was marked by a public talk and discussion with the artists.

The artists of Kamo Studio David Nadaraia, Levan Vaznareli and Temo Kvirkvelia spoke about their creative paths, the platinum-palladium printing process, its unique application in photography, and the working methods behind it. They also discussed the concept of the exhibition and its visual language.

Moderator: Mariam Shergelashvili - art historian and advisor to the exhibition project.

30 აპრილს, ფონდის კინოდარბაზში, “კამო სტუდიის” ფოტოგრაფთა ჯგუფის გამოფენა “UMBRA” დაიხურა.

გამოფენის დახურვასთან დაკავშირებით, მოეწყო საჯარო შეხვედრა და დისკუსია ნამუშევრების ავტორებთან.

“კამო სტუდიის” ფოტოხელოვანებმა – დავით ნადარაიამ, ლევან ვაზნარელმა და თემო კვირკველიამ ისაუბრებეს საკუთარ შემოქმედებით გზაზე, პლატინა-პალადიუმით ბეჭდვის ტექნიკაზე, ფოტოგრაფიაში მისი გამოყენების თავისებურებებსა და სამუშაო პროცესზე; ასევე განიხილეს გამოფენის კონცეფცია და მისი ვიზუალური ენა.
