This initiative is inspired by the good people of the Western Region, as we often say ‘the Best comes from the West.’
The enterprise christened “Celebration of Western Legends” will celebrate Icons from the home Region (Western Region) based on a selection criterion that dwells so much on Legend’s work impact to society be it Regional or National. Preceding programmes and activities will also be
organized to create awareness on a chosen Legend’s works and legacies for youthful engagements and advancements. The essence and objective of this Honour Event is to celebrate such iconic personalities on merit and inspire the believe in Ghana dream, with honest leadership, dignity of labour and the Can-Do-Spirit of the good people of the Western Region. Stakeholders involved in this initiative are key Western Institutions with major stake in the development of Western Region. This initiative not only promotes the Iconic Individuals but also help preserve the works of these patriots as a Regional Heritage.
