A journey of shapes, rhythms, and colors. 🌍✨
In her paired works, Botswana and Kenya, internationally recognized artist Vivi Papadakis transforms her travel impressions into a vibrant dialogue between nature, architecture, and collective memory.
Moving beyond literal representation, her sophisticated geometric abstraction and masterful use of color celebrate the richness of cultural identity with warmth and optimism. Beneath the visible differences of each place lies a deeper, shared human experience.

DIMITRIS TSIROGIANNIS
“Between Land, Sea and Memory”

at Tsantilis Art 1925
5 Sekeri Street, Kolonaki, Athens

Friday, 9 October | 18:30 – 21:00

This exhibition presents a carefully curated selection of works exploring the timeless relationship between landscape, memory, and Greek cultural identity.

Through patinated bronze sculptures, refined gold-plated works, and exceptional lithographies, Dimitris Tsirogiannis creates a distinctive artistic language where classical harmony meets contemporary expression.

Inspired by the enduring symbols of Greece — the architectural majesty of the
Acropolis, the silhouette of Lycabettus, the elegance of Hydra, the cosmopolitan spirit of Mykonos, and the timeless atmosphere of the Aegean — the exhibition offers a journey through form, material, and memory.

A significant highlight of the presentation is the artist’s monumental sculptural tribute to Yannis Moralis, honoring one of the most influential figures of modern Greek art.

Tsirogiannis’ works are represented in important public and private collections and have received international recognition, continuing a dialogue between Greek heritage and contemporary artistic creation.

We would be honored to welcome you to this special evening at Tsantilis Art 1925, where collectors, artists, and friends of the gallery will gather to experience this exceptional exhibition.

View of the Athens Acropolis from the Meropeion
Oil on canvas
A poetic Athenian landscape where monumentality meets everyday silence. Through a contemporary modernist gaze, the Acropolis rises beyond the urban fencing and dense vegetation, transforming a familiar city view into a deeply atmospheric memory-image.
By Kostas Triantafylopoulos — student of the legendary Yannis Tsarouchis and educated at the École des Beaux-Arts.
The work reflects the spirit of 20th-century modernism and the enduring dialogue between Athens, its monuments, and contemporary life.

“ Zappeio” oil / canvas exhibition
“Painting Tsarouchis and Other Stories: Landscapes, Still Lifes and Athenian Iconographies in Crayon and Painting”
by the distinguished Greek artist Kostas Papatriandafyllopoulos.
Exhibition is running until Saturday May 30
A pupil of Yannis Tsarouchis, Papatriandafyllopoulos belongs to a generation of post-war Greek painters whose practice is deeply rooted in the legacy of the École des Beaux-Arts, Paris, where he completed his artistic formation. His work occupies a distinct position between Greek modernism and the European figurative tradition.
Over several decades, his practice has developed a consistent visual language centred on atmosphere, memory, and the urban poetics of Athens and the Greek landscape.
His oeuvre has been repeatedly present in the secondary art market and selected auction contexts in Greece and abroad, reflecting sustained collector interest and established market recognition.
The exhibition brings together a carefully selected body of works that articulate light, structure, and painterly observation, offering a coherent reading of his artistic trajectory.
