Pillar of Cloud “Exodus 13:21”
by Rabee Younes

“By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way.”

Eight hand-built stoneware forms, stacked into one vertical work. Each piece was shaped, fired and glazed by hand here in Paros.

Crackled celadon, sun-yellow, cloud-white and soft blue move from base to crown, the way light moves through a cloud. This is a sculpture about guidance: the presence you follow even when you can’t see where it leads.

200 H x 45 W cm | Stoneware, 8 unique pieces

New to the gallery: Aggeliki Dimitriadou 🤍

We’re pleased to welcome Greek visual artist Aggeliki Dimitriadou to Art Therapy.

Her work is built in layers, literally and symbolically. She covers, exposes, erases and reworks each surface until it holds traces of every decision, intuition and absence that came before. The result is less a finished image than a threshold, inviting you to sense what lies beneath.

Moving between painting and weaving, she draws on architecture, textile traditions and the shifting rhythms of nature. Her compositions are made of overlapping forms, subtle textures and atmospheric fields of color.

Come spend some time with them in person at both galleries.

Plenitude by Raissa Malezieux
Ten strands, each one placed with intention. Inspired by the Ten Commandments, Plenitude speaks of wholeness and sacred order: every element has its place, and nothing can be removed without changing the whole.
A serene brass face rests at the center, crowned by a circle of amber glass and framed in raw jute and blackened wood. It reminds us that divine law is not shaped by human preference. Each commandment carries meaning, purpose and truth, and together they form a complete foundation for life, faith and our relationship with God.

QT4 painting found its new home in Chicago!
By Rabee Younes this body of work grows out of contemplative reading of scripture.
As the artist meditates on biblical passages, symbols and forms begin to appear, becoming the foundation of each piece.

Off the Shelf, No. 01 — Atta Kwami Find it in our Naoussa Library: the first monograph on Atta Kwami (1956–2021), published by London’s Serpentine Galleries and Walther König. Son of the sculptor Grace Kwami, he taught painting and printmaking in Kumasi from 1986 and built his grids from the street — roadside kiosks, hand-painted signs, Ewe and Asante cloth, jazz. “Wherever I go I take my world with me — my work is part of an unfolding journey,” he said in 2014. Swipe to see why he didn’t call his paintings abstract.

A work by the talented Yorgos Papageorgiou

A square mixed media painting, built in dense rows of color — coral, crimson, olive, ivory, and navy over a soft pink ground. Up close it reads like textile; from afar, a warm, textured field.
