Spring in the olive groves 🌿🫒🌼

March in Greece is a special time in the olive groves.
Fresh green grass, wildflowers blooming and the peaceful silence of nature between the ancient olive trees.
This is the season when the land rests and prepares for the next olive harvest. A beautiful reminder that great olive oil begins long before the olives are picked.
Family, nature and tradition – this is what Sotireli olive oil stands for. 💚

The olive tree is far more than just a tree. ✨️

It is a symbol of peace, wisdom, and eternal life — deeply rooted in Greek mythology.
According to legend, the goddess Athena gifted the first olive tree to humanity. 🌳
In her contest with Poseidon for the patronage of Athens, Poseidon created a saltwater spring — but Athena caused an olive tree to grow.
The people chose her gift: food, oil, light, and hope.
Since 1915, Sotirelis has honored this legacy — rooted in history, family, and quality.
From every olive tree comes not just olive oil, but a piece of culture that connects generations. 🫒✨
