while emotions, memories, and identities move around her like waves.

The fish symbolize the artist’s self and feelings, circling the mother as the source of love, meaning, and warmth.

More than an artwork, Mother is a silent prayer, a wordless love letter, and a quiet gratitude to the figure who gives life its colors.

Kasiyanto

From Malang to Ubud, Kasiyanto’s artistic journey is shaped by years of observing, unlearning, and returning to instinct.

In the late 90s, he immersed himself in Bali’s traditional art scene spending time in museums, studying compositions, and quietly absorbing visual narratives. By 1999, he chose to step away from convention, embracing a style defined by childlike lines and raw intuition.

His abstract works feel honest and playful, reminding us that art doesn’t always need complexity to be meaningful. Sometimes, simplicity is the statement.

An abstract landscape born at the intersection of reason and intuition.
In this series, geometric structures merge with organic forms, reflecting the human mind’s continuous dialogue between order and spontaneity.

Like an embryo of knowledge, each element exists in a state of ambiguity alive, unfolding, and full of potential.
Color, rhythm, and pattern guide the viewer through an inner terrain where ideas are not yet fully defined, yet deeply felt.

Created using watercolor and gouache with a Hybrid-Pop approach, this work embodies the fusion of logic, imagination, and the soul’s latent energy inviting multiple interpretations rather than a single conclusion.
