Here’s a refined version that feels warm, professional, and aligned with ISA’s tone:

Thank you to everyone who visited ISA Art Gallery’s presentation at Art Jakarta Gardens 2026 and spent time with us throughout the fair. Your presence, conversations, and support meant so much to us and to all the artists involved in *Methods of In/tending*.

Over the course of the week, the presentation unfolded through changing selections of works, tracing ideas of care, memory, transformation, and material process across diverse artistic practices. We are deeply grateful to have shared this experience with you.

We look forward to welcoming you again through future exhibitions, projects, and collaborations.

ISA Art Gallery is pleased to exhibit “In/tending” as part of Art Jakarta Gardens 2026.

The exhibition unfolds as an exploration of intention not as a fixed endpoint, but as something formed through action; continuously shaped, adjusted, and redefined in the process of making. Drawing from philosophical and ecological thought, the exhibition approaches artistic practice as a movement between care and conception, where what is cultivated over time meets what is set into motion.

Envisioned through the lens of the garden, the show embraces change, responsiveness, and ongoing transformation. Each artist’s practice emerges through a reciprocal relation between anticipation and attention—where making becomes a site in which thought takes form. Rather than asserting control, “In/tending” holds space for what exceeds intention, allowing works to remain open, evolving, and attuned to their conditions.

The exhibition invites us to engage not as passive viewers, but as participants in a process of becoming—where meaning is not fixed, but continuously tended. Like a garden, the works do not resolve; they persist, unfolding through time, through care, and through the forces that shape them.

The exhibition features A. Sebastianus (.sebastianus), Allyson Jeong, Arahmaiani (), Ardi Gunawan (), Audya Amalia, Chintia Kirana, Dabi Arnasa (), Dewi Fortuna Maharani, Galih Adika, Ida Lawrence (), Ines Katamso (.katamso), Jumaadi (juma__adi), Luh’De Gita (@*luhdegita*), Marten Bayuaji, Sillyndris (), Sinta Ta**ra (**ra), Yuki Nakayama (.art), and Zikry Rediansyah ()

Her works begin where something has already passed.

Built from ash, carbon, and time-worn materials, her surfaces hold what remains—traces of memory that are layered, obscured, and never fully revealed. Nothing is presented directly, yet everything persists.

In Present Presence, her works sit at the edge of visibility, where presence is quiet, fragile, and continuously unfolding.

Preview of Present Presence, .sebastianus .in.tia at work: Time spent adjusting, testing, and building each work in the space. Each artist works closely with their materials—thread, light, residue—allowing forms to take shape through process rather than fixed plans.

A quiet look at how the exhibition comes together, where every detail is considered and nothing is entirely static.

Present Presence presents an exhibition that explores the coexistence of presence and absence within a space, considering how matter, form, and perception shape our experience of being. Through distinct yet intersecting practices, the artists examine how something can be both felt and intangible, immediate yet elusive.
