🌸 A small card, a thoughtful gesture

These new folded postcards bring a touch of colour and light into everyday moments.
Each floral motif is painted in watercolour, capturing the softness, transparency and quiet vibrancy of the blooms.
The cards are made to be held, written on, and sent — or simply kept. Perfect as a greeting card, a note for someone special, or a small, personal message that lingers a little longer.
And with their fresh, vibrant tones, they also make a lovely choice for Easter wishes.

🌊 Atlantic Character

There is something wonderfully self-contained about puffins — a mix of quiet dignity and a touch of curiosity. Standing on the edge of sea and wind, they seem to carry the character of the Atlantic with them.

From April onwards, these remarkable birds return to Puffin Island and the Skelligs to begin their nesting season, filling the cliffs again with movement and life.

I just finished this painting and tried to hold on to that presence: a moment of stillness before the air fills with wings again.

🐦 Grace in Flight

There are moments in nature that feel almost imagined - too swift, too precise, too alive to fully grasp. The kingfisher belongs to those moments.
A sudden movement. Wings suspended between stillness and flight. A presence that exists for a heartbeat – and then is gone again.

This painting is holding on to that fleeting instant: the tension before motion, the quiet intensity of focus, the delicate balance between fragility and strength.

🐰 Fáilte, Harry!

Alert, curious, and just slightly unimpressed — Harry has his own quiet character.
Painted in textured layers of soft neutrals, turquoise and warm earthy tones, he seems ready to listen… or perhaps to hop off at any moment.
The artwork brings a light, contemporary touch to a room — subtle, yet full of personality. A small statement piece for those who enjoy art with a wink and a presence.

✨ Lá Le Bríde: Imbolc – an evening of light, ritual & contemporary art ✨

Excited to share Lá Le Bríde: Imbolc, a St Brigid’s Day event unfolding across Cahersiveen through contemporary art, light, and performance. Over the course of the evening, an immersive light installation, a live performance, and a large-scale projection activate different locations in the town, creating moments of gathering, reflection, movement, and illumination.

Each project responds to place, tradition, and renewal, offering new and unexpected ways of experiencing Cahersiveen through art.

✨ The year begins… with light ✨

The last weeks surprised us with blue skies and sunsets that lingered a little longer than expected.

This painting is a quiet response to those moments — when winter suddenly feels generous and the sea seems to agree.
Layers of yellow glow drift through greys and blues, holding on to the last warmth of the day.
Even if the clouds have taken over again, a little light can still stay on the canvas.

A festive evening to remember ✨

A heartfelt thank you to our clients and friends of the gallery for a truly lovely evening. Great conversations, live jazz and a wonderful atmosphere — we couldn’t have asked for more.

This year, we were especially happy to host our Christmas gathering for the first time in our new photography gallery, which made the evening feel even more special.

A special thank you to Leonie (saxophone) and Martin (trumpet) for setting the perfect mood with their music, to Trish, Karen and Katie for looking after everyone so beautifully throughout the evening, and to Alan Landers for capturing the spirit of the night so perfectly.

Thank you for your continued support and for shopping local — it truly means a lot.

We wish you a wonderful Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. 🎄✨

🌸 Moments of Colour and Calm
Between winter light and festive days, these three floral paintings bring a moment of calm into the room. Each bouquet has its own rhythm: warm oranges glowing from within, cool turquoise holding the light, and soft yellow blossoms reaching gently into space.

Perfect for bringing a touch of light and atmosphere — small moments of presence and warmth, painted in oil. Sometimes that’s all a room needs.

If you're looking for a piece to complete a space — as a thoughtful gift, for a home, or for a business interior — these paintings are now available and waiting to find their place.
