As Ireland's only Model Village, the West Cork Model Railway Village in Clonakilty, Co. Cork is a fully scaled handmade model of the old West Cork Railway Line with fully working trains and the towns that the railway served during the 1940s. Take a spin on our iconic Road Train through the beautiful town of Clonakilty. Relax and enjoy a cup of coffee/tea in our cafe or visit our Gift Shop.

Our miniature people didn’t want to miss out so they’re having their own “mini” street carnival! 🎈

Please note that the Road Train isn’t running today Saturday 13th June due to the Carnival taking place but the Model Village is open as usual 11:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m. Last entry at 4:00 p.m.

Some silly ducks have got lost in the Model Village and we need your help to find them! 🦆

Join our fun-filled Duck Treasure Trail during the month of June. Everyone who takes part gets a colouring page and Model Village stickers, plus you’ll be entered into a grand prize draw for family tickets to the Model Village.

🚃 Follow the miniature trains as they wind their way through miniature West Cork, don't miss the chance to drive the remote control boats and mini diggers.

🐤 NEW Duck Treasure Trail! Hidden among the miniature towns are some silly ducks. Can you spot them all?

🚂 Hop aboard the Choo Choo Road Train and enjoy an audio tour of the picturesque town of Clonakilty.
