Launching next week!
BIND - Eimearjean Mc Cormack

Cork Printmakers Studio Gallery, Wandesford Quay
2 June - 22 July 2026

BIND is a programme of exhibitions of individual artist books as part of Cork Printmakers artist book library.
The first exhibition will present the artist book Ink Drawing Series I by Eimearjean McCormack. The book is hand printed and hand bound by McCormack and includes a selection of ink drawings, risograph prints and screenprints.
The creation of limited-edition books and experimental publications have become an integral extension of Eimearjean’s printmaking practice. For her, the book format generates space for further exploration, functioning simultaneously as an archive of process and as a platform for new ideas to emerge.

BIND aims to celebrate contemporary book art in printmaking through exhibiting artist books by three invited artists and groups within our existing library and archive of printmakers artist books across 2026.
The programme will activate the existing library and celebrate the new and innovative approaches to artists books as a both social and intimate durational art object.

The exhibition explores poetic and symbolic connections between the human and non-human world. Working primarily through print-based practices, photography, and expanded media, both artists reflect themes of eco-consciousness, ritual, and psychological transformation within an environmentally precarious world.

Opening times: 10am - 1pm & 2pm - 4pm, Monday - Thursday, or by appointment.
To avoid disappointment, please note that the gallery may occasionally be closed during these hours due to annual leave or offsite work. We recommend calling 021 4322422 in advance to arrange an appointment.

Nicola Moran is a disabled artist from East Cork and a member of Crawford Supported Studios. From 15–24 May, you can see Nicola’s drawings screen printed on repurposed fabric bags as part of the Midleton Arts Festival Shop Front Gallery art trail at BiteSize Café Bakery, Peach Vintage Clothing and Zuni Deli.

Nicola draws curious characters in pen, filling the pages of her notebooks with playful variations of shape and colour. To read more, visit the link in our bio.

Shout out to Emma O’Hara and Cork Printmakers for their assistance!
