Originally my background is in live sound engineering, stage lighting and production, I have been working since 2008 in the music industry in varying aspects of sound and light t

echnology, having graduated from Dublin city's own sound training centre (R.O.I). After the recession in Ireland a lot of businesses including the music industry suffered as a result. The Visual Rhythm was born after this vast downturn in life from the economic crash. Patrick's day March 17th 2012 was a special night with a huge start up gig in a warehouse space called Subground43. It was the 1st party of its kind in that space and attracted a lot of attention on the underground scene as it was emerging in Dublin. I knew it was time for something different, to add My own twist on events both visually and rhythmically. So starting in warehouse spaces, squatted buildings owned by European banks (where we also lived for almost two year) and held parties on regular occasions. Then after the take off and the need for something different on the scene, The Visual Rhythm has grown, now with the official launch of the website and festival we hope to attract a lot more attention from all. A usual gig would see an MC or two hosting the stage all night on their mikes to some HEAVY BASSlines!!! Genres are a mix of dnb (drum and bass), jungle, raggajungle but sometimes we have that second stage with some Reggae or Dub for the all important chillout....just for all those Herbalists!!! in need of some RnR (Rest and Relaxation) at an energetic party


The dawn of The Visual Rhythm was the result of a lone venture with a great deal of personal effort, my creation now has a great group of friends from all walks of life both new and old around, who join me to make up the Rhythmic family behind the scenes, always offering a helping hand and are a big part, not only to the story of The Visual Rhythm but have played a tremendous role in my own life story and will continue to in my life and for all our events past present and future.
