Micheál Ó hAnnracháin, proof-reader & printer for Conradh na Gaeilge and 2nd in command of the Volunteers’ 2nd battalion under MacDonagh until MacBride unexpectedly took that role on Easter Monday (stationed at Jacob's Biscuit Factory).
Seán Heuston, member of Fianna Éireann, held the Mendicity Institution on the River Liffey for over two days with about 20 volunteers.
Constance Markievicz, suffragate, socialist and the first woman elected to the British Parliament in Westminister where she was an abstentionist MP. Founding member of Fianna Éireann, Cumann na mBan and the Irish Citizen Army, Markievicz fought in St Stephen's Green, with the ICA before moving to The Royal College of Surgeons.
William J Pearse, artist, sculptor and brother of Pádraig, with whom he fought in the GPO on Easter week.
Joseph Plunkett, one of the original members of the IRB Military Committee, was stationed at the GPO alongside Collins, who was his aide de camp. Plunkett was married to Grace Gifford just seven hours before his ex*****on.
Con Colbert, member of Conradh na Gaeilge, the IRB and the Volunteers, as well as bodyguard for Thomas Clarke. Colbert fought at Watkin's Brewery, Jameson's Distillery and Marrowbone Lane.
Roger Casement, diplomat and humanitarian. Casement was executed by the the British Government for high treason, as a direct result of his involvement in trying to obtain German support for the Irish cause leading up to the 1916 Rising.
