📚✨ We’re thrilled to be part of the Ennistymon Book Town Festival 2026! ✨📚

This wonderful annual literary celebration will see Ennistymon come alive as pop-up book stalls, rare book dealers, writers, poets, and book lovers take over the town for a magical weekend in County Clare.

Join us Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July 2026 as the gallery becomes part of the festival buzz, with poetry readings, literary happenings, and lots more taking place throughout the weekend.

We can’t wait to welcome readers, writers, collectors, dreamers, and lovers of words through our doors.

Things are heating up at The Courthouse Gallery & Studios.
Our much-loved Summer Open Call Exhibition is back, and this year’s line-up is bursting with bold ideas, fresh perspectives, and seriously exciting work from artists across Ireland and beyond.
Selected by curator Sarah Fuller, the 2026 exhibition brings together an outstanding mix of emerging and established artists, filling both the Main Gallery and Redcouch Gallery with colour, energy, experimentation, and creative spark.
Expect a vibrant group show packed with diverse voices, unexpected encounters, and artwork that will make you stop, look, think, and maybe even come back for a second lap.

🎬 Filmmaking Workshop for 16–18-Year-Olds – Limited Places Left! 🎬

This is an amazing opportunity for young people aged 16–18 who are interested in film, art, or media studies.

This hands-on workshop is ideal for anyone looking to build their portfolio, gain creative experience, or strengthen future applications for college, university, or creative courses.

Participants will learn:

🎥 Camera skills
📖 Storytelling
🎙️ Sound recording
🎞️ Filmmaking techniques
🎬 How to create a finished short film

By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained practical experience and helped create a completed short film.

🎉🌾 We’re so excited for the Ennistymon North West Clare Agricultural Show! 🌾🎉

We are absolutely delighted to be one of the sponsors of this brilliant, fun-filled family day out! 💚

The North Clare Agricultural Show takes place this weekend in the gorgeous grounds of the , and it is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

The road may be closed to traffic, but we are very much OPEN.

Come through. Walk in. Wander in. Find us.

The art is still here.
The gallery is still open.
And honestly? The art needs you.

A road closure is temporary, but the strange, brilliant, necessary feeling of standing in front of a work of art is worth the detour.

Art is good for you. It slows the mind, wakes the senses, and reminds us we are human.

So don’t let the roadworks put you off — we would love to see you.
