To mark the end of the tourist season at Kiltartan Gregory Museum the wonderful volunteers - who continue to keep the door open from year to year - celebrate another successful year, with lunch, at the Cobblestone Coole Park.
The museum is now closed but visits are possible by prior appointment.

It’s always a pleasure to welcome Margaret Farrell, great granddaughter of Frank Persse who was architect of the building which now houses the Kiltartan Gregory Museum.
Here Margaret holds a photograph of her great grandfather - with his family - which includes Margaret’s grandmother, centre, in white.
The Museum is now closed for the season.

If you are attending the annual Lady Gregory-Yeats Autumn Gathering, this weekend, you might like to pop into the Kiltartan Gregory Museum at Kiltartan Cross. View original artefacts and memorabilia relating to Lady Gregory and walk down memory lane in an early 20 Century classroom. Lady Gregory visited this school every autumn with apples for the school children.
Open Friday afternoon and on Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 5.

It was a pleasure to welcome Rang 5 agus Rang 6 - from Kiltartan National School - to Kiltartan Gregory Museum yesterday. The pupils displayed a keen interest in - and great knowledge of - their local history and culture. It was a delight to discuss with them the many history projects that they are involved with. Thank you to their teachers Miss Mooney and Miss Kirrane for your visit and for keeping our local Kiltartan history alive.👏👏
