We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming tin whistle classes, led by none other than local resident and expert musician, Dr. Maurice Mullen! Maurice brings decades of passion, performance, and teaching experience to the table - from sessions across Malahide, Portmarnock, Skerries, and Dublin City, to his amazing community work founding Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to rekindle an old flame with music, you’ll be in the warmest hands. As Maurice puts it:
“Learning to play traditional music is for everyone, from 5 years old to 105 years! Learning to play music as an adult is no barrier. The personal joy of playing readily leads into the realisation that playing with others for fun is a wonderfully fulfilling venture. Invariably, it becomes a life affirming activity where seeking out new tunes and melodies is part of the fun of playing.”
