Kings Gallery - גלריית המלכים King´s Gallery is a prominent fine art gallery with three locations in the center of Jerusalem. Hours: Sun-Thurs: 10am-2pm, 4pm-8pm Fri: 10am-2pm.

Established in 1995, King´s Gallery strives to collect and sell the highest quality historic and contemporary Jewish and Israeli art. The gallery specializes in artists from the early period of the Bezalel

School, and has a unique collection of works by Boris Schatz, Meir Gur Aryeh, Avraham Melnikov, Pinchas Litvinovsky, Shmuel Ben David, Ze’ev Raban and Shmuel Charuvi, to name just a few.The gallery also has a large variety of original works and lithographs by leading contemporary Jewish and Israeli artists, including Menashe Kadishman, Yaakov Agam and Yosl Bergner. Kings Gallery features leading up-and-coming artists who will be prominent names in the next few years. Our motto is that “Collecting art is not only a matter of a good eye and fine taste, but also a matter of falling in LOVE”. This oil on wood by Meir Pichhadze (50 x 62 cm) captures stillness and emotion through a sparse gathering of objects. Resting on top are books, some stacked, others open. But curiously, their pages remain blank. There are no letters, no written words. This absence invites interpretation. Perhaps they are unwritten stories, or stories forgotten. They may represent lost histories, or the possibility of starting fresh — of writing new meaning onto old pages.
