Rising majestically to 9 feet with 7 sacred tiers, this Deebasthambam is a timeless embodiment of Sanatana heritage.
At its base rests Kurma Avatar, where Lord Vishnu takes the form of the cosmic turtle, symbolizing stability, patience, and the unseen strength that supports the universe itself. Just as Kurma bore Mount Mandara during the churning of the ocean, this foundation reminds us that all creation stands upon divine balance.

Ascending tier by tier, the lamp represents the spiritual journey from earth to the divine.
Crowning the Deebasthambam is Garuda, the mighty vahana and eternal guardian of Lord Vishnu, standing vigilant at the top. With wings poised and gaze uplifted, Garuda signifies speed, protection, devotion, and the triumph of light over darkness.

When lit, this Deebasthambam does more than illuminate space—it awakens sacred energy, transforming entrances, courtyards, and temples into realms of divine presence.

“Two energies, one divine form”
Ardhanarishvara stands as the eternal symbol of unity, where Shiva and Shakti blend into a single, resplendent presence. This sacred form reveals that the masculine and feminine are not separate forces, but two halves of the same cosmic truth. According to legend, when the sages questioned how the cycle of creation could continue while Shiva remained in deep, unbroken meditation, he responded not with words, but with a revelation. He manifested as Ardhanarishvara—half Shiva and half Parvati—showing that consciousness (Shiva) can act only when empowered by energy (Shakti), and that Shakti finds direction only through Shiva.

In this divine moment, Shakti merged gracefully into Shiva’s form, creating a vision of perfect harmony. Nandi, ever devoted, witnessed this profound transformation, recognising it as the essence of creation itself. Ardhanarishvara thus stands as a reminder that balance, unity, and completeness arise only when both forces exist as one—guiding the universe with equilibrium and grace.

Vintage Treasure: The Camphor Box from China. ✨

This beautiful camphor wood box has travelled nearly a century from old colonial China - most likely from Hong Kong about 80–90 years ago. Every side is intricately carved, telling stories of court life, trade, and war, showcasing the artistry of the era.

✨ Crafted from aromatic camphor wood, it was originally used to store silk and wool, keeping them safe from moths and insects. The dark patina on the outside has developed over decades, while the lighter interior reveals the wood’s original tone. Once made to protect precious silk, today this vintage camphor box has become a treasure in itself.
