Thomas Henriot’s Thomas Henriot gold jacquard textile works, woven in Lyon, France, are on view as part of The Weight of Light. Translated from his delicate ink drawings, they carry gesture, line, and light into a tactile, quietly immersive form.

We’re delighted to invite you to The Weight of Light, a solo exhibition by Thomas Henriot. Through meditative ink drawings and gold-thread Jacquard textiles, He likes to trace the slow movement of light across architecture.
Slide 4 captures the artist at work during his residency with the Basu Foundation for the Arts—a quiet, intimate moment of drawing in situ.
