Shri Vijay Goel, Hon’ble Vice Chairman Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti along with renowned actor Shri Anil George and Director GSDS, Dr. Sanjeet Kumar gave away the “Dandi March Rolling Trophy” to the winners of the Elocution competition on September 3, 2026 at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat. While Keshav Khuswaha from PGDV, West Patel Nagar won the first prize in Hindi, Sharlin Gupta from Govt. Co-ed Sr. Secondary School, Roop Nagar won the first prize in English. Almost 500 children drawn from 300 schools from Delhi NCR Rajasthan Haryana Uttar Pradesh took part in the competition organised by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti on September 2 – 3, 2026.

Former union minister and Vice Chairman of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, Shri Vijay Goel will grace the prize distribution ceremony of the grand elocution competition organised by GSDS today at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat as the Chief Guest and award the participants. GSDS had organised the elocution competition for Dandi March Rolling Trophy on “Prime Minister’s Message from the Red Fort - Towards Viksit Bharat” on September 2, 2026 with participation of 500 children from ovet 300 schools of Delhi, NCR, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab. Today September 3, 2026, selected students in Hindi and English category will compete for the rolling trophy.

Young Voices for a Viksit Bharat – 500 children from 300+ Schools converged at Gandhi Darshan Rajghat for inter-school Elocution Competition for 'Dandi March Rolling Trophy' organised by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti under Ministry of Culture, Government of India on September 2,2026. Shri Vijay Goel, Vice Chairman GSDS inaugurated this two-day competition and shared his views on Viksit Bharat 2047 which was also an inherent theme of the competition. Director GSDS also addressed the gathering of students and teachers. An exhibition depicting India’s struggle of Independence and towards a developed India was put on display on this occasion. The finals will be held at Gandhi Darshan Rajghat on September 3, 2026x

*300 + schools from Delhi and NCR Region, Punjab, Haryana, Bareilly, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are taking part in the grand Elocution Competition for students of Classes 9th to 12th at 10:00 AM at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, New Delhi organised Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, Ministry of Culture. Government of India on 2nd and 3rd September, 2026 for the Dandi March Rolling Trophy*. *The theme of the competition is लाल किले से प्रधानमंत्री का संदेश: विकसित भारत की ओर/Prime Minister’s Message from the Red Fort: Towards a Developed India*

Director GSDS, Dr. Sanjeet Kumar, welcomed renowned Punjabi singer, songwriter and actor Shri Dilbagh Singh at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, on August 31, 2026. On the occasion, he presented Shri Singh with the Gandhi Charkha, followed by a tour of the Gandhi Darshan Museum.
