Creators In Focus organized a Jharia Coal Mines (Jharkhand, India) Documentary Photography Workshop under the guidance of Photojournalist and The Burning City author Vishal Kumar Singh. Vishal Kumar Singh
This workshop was not just about learning photography, but also about connecting, exchanging perspectives, and growing together as documentary photographers.

This is a pure documentary photography workshop.
-No shots are arranged
-No scenes are created or staged
-Photography must be done candidly
Participants must observe real situations on the ground and photograph according to live conditions
There are no pre-arranged setups or planned shots — everything is real and unfolds naturally.
However, Creators In Focus will guide participants based on the type of photographs and stories they wish to capture, helping them develop their documentary vision and storytelling approach.

🗓️ Duration: 2 days (It depends on you how many additional days you would like to extend ).
⏰ Timings:
Morning: 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Evening: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
👥 Participants:
Only 3–4 participants per workshop to ensure focused and personalized guidance.
