There’s something comforting about structure—we seek it in our work, our routines, our decisions. It gives us a sense of control, a framework to hold things together. And yet, it’s often within that very structure that we begin to drift—questioning, adjusting, allowing space for something more intuitive to emerge.

Structure & Drift sits in this in-between space. It reflects the tension between holding form and letting go, between discipline and discovery. Because sometimes, it’s not about breaking away from structure—but about softening within it, so something more honest can take shape.

Structure & Drift brings together three artists whose practices examine the dynamic relationship between order and movement — between the systems that shape civilization and the forces that continually unsettle it. Structure gives form: architecture, geometry, language, cultural frameworks. Drift introduces motion: migration, ecological change, memory, and lived experience. Rather than existing in opposition, these conditions operate simultaneously — each reshaping the other.

In the works of Manohar Lal, geometric precision and fractal principles construct architectonic compositions that draw from both decorative traditions and natural systems. His measured frameworks suggest stability, yet they carry within them an organic rhythm — revealing that even the most disciplined structures are alive.
Prasanta Ghosh explores the invisible architectures that govern human experience — spatial, psychological, and social. His works reflect on containment and expansion, probing how environments and conceptual systems define, protect, and at times constrain us.

Through layered drawings and mixed media works, Jayeti Bhattacharya traces movement across territories — mapping migration, ecological fragility, and the shifting nature of belonging. Her visual language suggests that permanence is always provisional.

Together, the exhibition proposes that structure is never static, and drift is never chaotic. Culture evolves in the tension between the two — where geometry meets memory, architecture absorbs movement, and systems bend under lived reality.

Studio Art Presents “Structure & Drift” -A group of three artists ; Jayeti Bhattacharya | Manohar Lal | Prasanta Ghosh.

It brings together three artists whose practices examine the dynamic relationship between order and movement — between the systems that shape civilization and the forces that continually unsettle it.
Structure gives form: architecture, geometry, material, and cultural frameworks that organise space and experience. Drift introduces motion: migration, ecological change, memory, and lived realities that resist containment. Rather than existing in opposition, these conditions operate simultaneously — each shaping, disrupting, and reconstituting the other.

Across the exhibition, structure is not fixed, nor is drift entirely formless. Instead, the works reveal a more fluid condition where geometric precision encounters organic variation, and where material becomes a site of both stability and transformation. Systems emerge, dissolve, and reassemble — reflecting the ways in which built, natural, and perceptual worlds continuously negotiate with one another.

In this space, the viewer encounters not binaries, but interdependencies: between permanence and impermanence, order and intuition, the constructed and the evolving. Together, the practices propose a nuanced understanding of how we inhabit, construct, and experience the world — as something at once grounded and in flux.

Silence & Shadow | Solo at Studio Art of Artist Sachin Tekade, is an invitation to slow down — to notice how light shifts, how form breathes, how spaces & life transform, how stillness carries its quiet pulse. It asks us to reflect on the architectures we inhabit — both within and around us — and on the fragile balance between what we build, where we are headed, and what we are ready to let go of.
