In modern times iconic painter like ‘Mahasundari Devi’ the winner of prestigious ‘Padma Shri’ award from government of India in 2011, for her contribution to ‘art. She truly represented ‘Madhubani Paintings’ and her last painting as per her family statement is way back in 2011. She died in 4 July 2013. It’s also considered as a ‘Hindu Painting style’ and is done with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, match sticks, natural dyes, pigments, and eye catching geometrical patterns.
