Upcycled denim, scrap cloth, a little thread, and the creative hands of our participants came together to create beautiful coasters with artist Savia Viegas.

What began as bits and pieces turned into tiny works of art along with laughter, patience, and creativity. The evening was followed with a guided walkthrough of Savia’s works.

Thank you to everyone who joined, tangled thread with us. Special thanks to Savia Viegas for sharing her craft, process, and magic with such generosity.

Tales from Carmona: Virginia’s Prenup
(film screening)

A special screening of a film-in-progress exploring the work of Savia Viegas invites audiences into the intimate, untold stories of women from her village, Carmona. Through evocative embroidery and personal narratives, the film reflects on memory, resistance, and the complexities of womanhood. The screening will be followed by a conversation with the directors and Savia, alongside her ongoing solo exhibition of embroidered works and paintings—offering a deeper, immersive experience of her powerful storytelling.

Thank you Dolcy D'Cruz and OHerald Goa for featuring the opening night of the Solo Art Exhibition - Gozali / Conversations by Savia Viegas on 18th April '26. Savia's works will be on display till the Sunday, 17th May '26.

We are open from Wednesdays to Sundays between 10 am - 7 pm.

Gozali / Conversations by Savia Viegas opened yesterday — and what a night it was. Thank you to everyone who showed up and made it come alive.

Between the works and the stories woven into them, we’re sure a few memories stirred, old tales resurfaced, and plenty of gozali / gozaleo found its way into the room.

If you missed it (or want a second look), drop by before 17th May, 10 AM – 7 PM, Wednesday to Sunday.
Come for the stories — told through thread, paint, and everything in between.

...“Make rabbit stew tomorrow.”
I ground the seeds and mixed the sap. The tangy taste in the rabbit stew came from a dash of tamarind.

The uncle turned blue an hour after he finished his lunch. The remains of the stew were fed to the pigs that died mysteriously.
