This special ₹350 commemorative coin was issued by the Government of India to mark the 350th Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the Ninth Guru of Sikhism.
This historic issue honours his supreme sacrifice for the protection of religious freedom, human dignity, and righteousness, values that continue to guide generations. The coin features the portrait of holy sikh pilgrimage Shri Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib situated at the Chandni Chowk of Delhi.

❖ These are Non-Circulating commemorative coins, struck exclusively in UNC, and Proof versions for collection and remembrance.
❖ The coin is made up of pure 999 silver and weighs 40 grams.
❖ These coins were minted by the India Government Mint, Mumbai.

A Scarce Four Anna coin from my British India collection minted in 1920 under the reign of King George V.

Here's a brief overview of the coin:

Denomination : 4 Anna (¼ Rupee)
Years of Minting : 1919 - 1921
Ruler : George V
Metal : Copper-Nickel
Weight : 6.8 grams (Apx.)
Diameter : 24 mm
Edge : Plain
Shape : Scalloped (with 8 notches)

Obverse :
Features a crowned portrait of King George V with the inscription "GEORGE V KING EMPEROR" and the INDIA and the Year of Minting.

Reverse:
Displays the denomination "Four ANNA" in a square in the English and the scripts of Urdu, Telugu, Bengali & Devanagari surrounding the square.
