Bhav Mandal - Gopis Serving Shri Krishna's Vraj Leela Pichwai Painting ||

This hand-painted Pichwai captures the Bhav Mandal, a circle of devotion in which the gopis of Vraj are absorbed in the service of Shri Krishna. Eight gopis in golden-yellow odhnis and ghaghras walk in procession beneath a scalloped golden canopy (chhatri). They carry items associated with Krishna's pastoral life: the black kamli (blanket), the staff, the shringa (horn), a peacock-feather fan, a tanpura, and a thali with butter pots. Cows, the heart of Vraj, walk beside them.

Above, Shri Krishna floats in the sky at the upper left, watching his beloved gopis. The sun and crescent moon appear together, a Pushtimarg symbol that Krishna's leela is timeless and beyond day and night. Six small arched niches along the left edge show individual gopis, like devotees in a temple. Below, pink lotuses bloom along a stream, and dense golden foliage with birds and blossoms surrounds the scene.

The floral vine border in deep maroon and gold frames the painting like a haveli wall, in the tradition of Nathdwara.

This piece is painted by hand in the traditional Nathdwara Pichwai style. The bottom of the artwork shows a lotus pond with fish, ducks and turtles, framed by a rich floral border with fine gold detailing.

"Enola's Bliss – Shrinathji in the Lotus Pond"

This exquisite hand-painted Pichwai artwork depicts Shrinathji, the beloved form of Lord Krishna worshipped at Nathdwara, standing gracefully amidst a lush lotus pond. Rendered in earthy, muted tones of ochre, sepia, and moss green, the painting captures Shrinathji in his traditional raised-arm "Giriraj" pose, adorned with intricate jewelry, layered pearl necklaces, and a richly patterned pitambar (garment).

Surrounding the divine figure are delicately illustrated lotus flowers and leaves, symbolizing purity, spiritual awakening, and divine presence — a signature motif in traditional Nathdwara Pichwai art. The soft halo behind his crown, detailed floral border, and textured background reflect the meditative devotion (seva) central to this centuries-old art form.

Perfect for home temples, meditation spaces, or as a statement piece of Indian traditional wall art, this painting blends spiritual symbolism with timeless artistic craftsmanship.

"Durga Chalisa Phad Painting"

This exquisite Durga Chalisa Phad Painting is a handcrafted piece of traditional Rajasthani folk art, meticulously painted on cotton cloth by skilled artisans. Rendered in the centuries-old Phad painting style native to Rajasthan, this artwork narrates the sacred 40-verse hymn (Chalisa) dedicated to Goddess Durga through a series of vividly illustrated panels.

Each panel depicts a verse from the Durga Chalisa, accompanied by the original Devanagari script, showing the Goddess in her many forms and divine episodes — riding her lion/tiger, in fierce and benevolent avatars, alongside deities, devotees, and mythological scenes. The painting follows the classic Phad tradition of horizontal registers filled with intricate figures, rich earthy tones, and bold outlines, framed by traditional floral borders.

"Lord Shrinathji Darshan" – Original Handpainted Pichwai Painting ||

This exquisite handmade Pichwai painting depicts Shrinathji — the beloved seven-year-old form of Lord Krishna worshipped at the Nathdwara temple in Rajasthan — standing in his iconic pose with one arm raised toward the rising moon and the other cradling a bouquet of blooming lotus flowers.

Rendered in the traditional Nathdwara Pichwai style, the artwork showcases intricate detailing: layered pearl and gemstone necklaces, a richly patterned maroon and gold pitambar (dhoti), an ornate peacock-feather crown (mukut), and delicate jewelry across the arms and ankles. The deity is framed by an arched niche flanked by lotus plants and warm earthy tones of terracotta, ochre, and grey, evoking the serene devotional atmosphere of a temple shrine.

Traditional Handpainted Pichwai Painting of "Krishna with Cows" in Meadow ||

This exquisite handmade Pichwai painting portrays Lord Krishna, the divine cowherd, in a moment of peaceful repose amidst nature. Dressed in his signature golden-yellow dhoti and vibrant orange sash, adorned with intricate pearl jewelry and a traditional peacock-style crown (mukut), Krishna is seated gracefully on a grassy meadow, holding his bansuri (flute) — a symbol of divine music and love.

Surrounding him are five gentle cows, each with detailed bells and collars, grazing and resting peacefully — representing Krishna's eternal bond with Gau Mata (mother cow) and his life as Govinda in the forests of Vrindavan. The soft green landscape, dotted with wildflowers and framed by trees under a tranquil blue-grey sky, evokes the pastoral serenity of Braj Bhoomi.

Shrinathji Annakut Rajbhog Antique Pichwai Painting

This exquisite hand-painted pichwai depicts Lord Shrinathji (a form of Krishna, with the raised left arm holding up Govardhan Hill) enshrined in his haveli during the Annakut festival, celebrated the day after Diwali. The deity stands in classic Nathdwara style — dark-hued form, bejeweled with a pearl and gemstone necklace (kanthi), an ornate golden crown (mukut), and flanked by smaller shrine images of Krishna's swaroops (sacred forms).

Below the deity, the painting showcases the traditional Annakut ("mountain of food") offering — tiers of sweets, fruits, and mithai stacked into a mountain shape, symbolizing the mound of food Krishna's devotees offered him after he lifted Govardhan Hill to shelter them from Indra's storm.

The composition includes attending priests and devotees (sevaks) on either side, one holding a morchhal (peacock-feather whisk) and another an aarti lamp, set against a richly patterned background of gold-bordered floral panels and a starry night sky with a comet or celestial streak overhead — a hallmark artistic touch of Nathdwara pichwai tradition.
