✨ Delighted to share that I will be performing tomorrow at the very esteemed platform of Princeton Club, Kolkata, from 7 PM onwards, as part of the “Boho Folk Tales” festival, organised by Boho Trunk—a unique creative space that beautifully brings together café culture, fashion, and art.
For this special evening, I will be presenting some traditional Indian Pure Classical and Semi-Classical compositions in an experimental, contemporary musical arrangement, exploring forms such as Khayal, Thumri, Ghazal, Kajri, Dadra, Chaiti, Bhajan and more.
Adding a new dimension to my conventional musical vocabulary will be three wonderful artists:
🎸 Biswajit Bhai – Guitar
🎹 Soumalyo Bhai – Keys
🥁 Pranav Bhai – Cajon
Their unconventional artistry and sensitive musical approach will, I hope, bring a fresh colour to this experimental presentation.
My deepest regards to the entire family of Boho Trunk, and especially to the supremely talented designer and passionate art lover Akashlinaa Banerrjee , the pilot of this beautiful ship, for placing her trust in me and giving wings to this musical experiment. ❤️
My heartfelt love and gratitude to my soulmate Suman Dhriti Shome Arttism - an unconventional poet and installation artist, for his unconditional emotional as well as practical support throughout this experimental initiative of mine. Your belief means a lot. ❤️
I sincerely hope to have all your blessings, love and precious presence tomorrow at Princeton Club, as we embark on this little journey of blending tradition with contemporary musical expressions.
Looking forward to sharing the evening with you all. 🙏✨
