Art Gallery "The Alternative" "THE ALTERNATIVE", the nicest Art Gallery in Mamallapuram, has now opened its doors with an exhibition dedicated to Tribal Medicines from South India.

"The Alternative" Art Gallery started 2010 and is now a cultural hotspot in Mamallapurams' cultural landscape. It exhibits Sculptures in stone, wood and metal from Creative Sculptors, Navajeevan Metal Sculptors, Manasa Wood Creations and Modern Art connected to the activities of "Make Art in India" and "Global Stone Workshop" . It has also a social activity connected to NGO working in the area
