Anjum Motiwala is a contemporary abstract artist based in Singapore. She strives to create a rhythm on the canvas by building a ‘connection’ between her language of abstraction and her perception of the subject. Her paintings are made using many layers of texture and paint. Anjum uses a palette knife, painting in oils, using a thick impasto technique to produce bold strokes that add strength and texture to her abstracts.

The subtle hues on her canvas have an almost lyrical quality about them, and her palette shows a restrained maturity. The myriad of colours bring about a drama on the canvas through the browns, yellows, greys and blues... and her color palette has only gotten more buoyant over the years.

Photography has given artist Rittu Bhatia both a mission and an identity — a passion that is freeing, unpredictable, and deeply fulfilling, and now her profession. It has taught her to fall in love with light, to see the world with fresh eyes, and to stop, look, and truly listen.

Her goal is simple: to have photography embraced as art. Not everyone can travel, yet beauty exists everywhere — waiting to be seen, appreciated, and preserved. By transferring that beauty onto canvas and into the homes and offices of people as affordable art, she has found her purpose.

All photographs are available as limited edition, gallery-quality prints, custom printed to any size on archival art paper or canvas.

Nidhi’s works investigates the beauty of nature’s evolution - the continual cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Being inside nature - surrounded by it - and feeling close to the earth’s soil is a grounding force in both her life and work. Her stunning floral paintings are infused with the rich memories of her childhood, and spending a lot of time out in nature.

“I try to spend as much time as possible just watching nature’s beautiful cycle of death and rebirth. It fascinates me to no end and is my biggest source of inspiration… I prefer being inside a jungle, under trees and bushes than looking at a scene from up on a hill or mountain. Being inside it, surrounded by it, that feeling of being close to the earth’s soil. It is so grounding,” says the artist.
